According to reports in England, Manchester United have rejected Fulham's initial £30m bid for Scott McTominay as the Red Devils will not accept less than £40 million for his transfer.
The Cottagers will have to consider whether it is worth offering that kind of money for the Scottish midfielder but they remain very interested in him at the moment. In the meantime, their London rivals will try to spoil their plans.
Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race for the 27-year-old's services, according to 'The Sun'. Spurs are also looking to strengthen their midfield in the summer transfer window and see the United player as a good contender.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils may be willing to sell the Scot as they have to balance their books after the signings of Joshua Zirkee and Leny Yoro. But they want to cash in on his sale and will not sell him unless a good offer comes across Jim Ratcliffe's board.
