Both sides looked eager to break the lock from the get-go, but it was Wolves who opened the scoring after seven minutes of play. Nelson Semedo's run on the fight flank was rewarded with a goal, as Larsen slotted home the Portuegese's sweet cross. City did not give up though, as they found the equaliser before the half-time whistle. Sa could not keep out Gvardiol's stunning strike, who made it 1-1 at the Molineux. From then, it was complete dominance from Guariola's men, but Wolves looked to have survived the storm, until John Stones headed home a last-grasp winner from a corner. With the win, Man City go top of the table, though Liverpool have the opportunity to relcaim their lead against Chelsea later on.
