Japanese star Take Kubo has extended his deal with Real Sociedad and is tied to the Basque club until June 2029. It is worth noting that he still has three more years left on his contract and that only a year and a half after his first signing he has already renewed.
The main objective of this renewal for two more years is to improve the player's wages with a salary increase in line with the Asian's good performance at the San Sebastian club. On the other hand, the 60 million price of his termination clause has been maintained.
Since the Japanese player first put on the Real Sociedad shirt, he has played 71 official matches, scored 15 goals and provided 10 assists. For the 'Txuri-urdin' fans, the Japanese is one of their favourite players in the squad and he has achieved this in a very short time.
Real Madrid at the time kept 50% of a future sale of the player, but not of his rights. The rumours of the Japanese's return to the club have always been there, but with this new agreement it seems that they are going away and that Kubo's time at Donosti still has many seasons ahead of him.
