Tchouameni to ask Florentino Perez if Mbappe 'wants to come' to Real Madrid

Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni made headlines after Real Madrid's draw against Leipzig secured their ticket to the Champions League quarter-finals, with Los Blancos holding a slender one-goal advantage after claiming victory in the first leg.
The France international was asked about the hot topic of the moment, namely the possible signing of Kylian Mbappe, who informed Paris Saint-Germain a few weeks ago that he would leave the club as a free agent at the end of the season.
The French midfielder claimed he was unaware of the decision his national team-mate had made, and even claimed he would ask 'Merengues' president Florentino Perez about whether the French superstar wants to join the Santiago Bernabeu outfit.
"Mbappe? I didn't tell him anything. I wasn't aware of his departure. I was taking a nap, I woke up, bam Twitter, little popcorn. I'm going to ask the president if he wants to come," he said.
What Tchouameni is referring to when he says "popcorn" is that a tweet posted by the young Madrid star with two popcorn emojies went viral minutes after Fabrizio Romano announced Mbappe's departure from PSG.
