Manchester United's McTominay is back in the spotlight once again this summer for a possible move away from Old Trafford. Fulham are the most interested suitors in this transfer window and have made the Red Devils a second £20m bid for the player.
The Red Devils need to cash in on players to fill the gaps left by the injured Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund who will miss the next few months of competition.
The Scottish player has not yet found the important role he would like to have in Ten Hag's team and would not look unfavourably on an exit from the Dutchman's side. He has made 32 Premier League appearances this season, 14 of them coming off the bench.
Ten Hag was asked about McTominay at a press conference and said he would like to have him for next season. “I am so pleased with the performance of Scott and so pleased to have him in my squad. Scott has huge impact on team performances with his spirt and playing in the advanced position he is so important," said the Dutchman.
