Dutch manager Erik ten Hag, who is likely to remain in charge of Manchester United for at least one more season, has been warned not to sign one of his summer targets in the next transfer window.

The 54-year-old Ten Hag was the subject of intense scrutiny after Manchester United ended last season eighth in the Premier League - their lowest finish since 1990 - and crashed out of the Champions League at the group stage.
But he did help salvage something from the campaign thanks to a 2-1 FA Cup final win over local rivals Manchester City at Wembley that also secured a place in next season's Europa League.
As a result, he is very likely to remain in charge of the Red Devils and lead the decisions on summer reinforcements for next campaign. The Dutch manager is known for making some star signings that have turned out to be impressive, such as Antony, among others.
Joshua Zirkzee, who currently plays for Bologna, has been rumoured to be well-liked by Erik ten Hag, which has caused quite a stir in the football world. So much so that former Netherlands player Bryan Roy wanted to warn his compatriot about his next market decisions.
"Zirkzee, unlike Koopmeiners, is not yet ready for the big jump. He is still young, he needs another year at Bologna where he can score a lot. It would be important to test himself in the same team but with a different coach. Then he will think about what to do," he told 'TuttoJuve'.
