The round of medical tests that Real Madrid have carried out ahead of the next league game against Mallorca has unconvered two bits of bad news and one good one. The bad one is that Eden Hazard is injured once again. The good ones are that Karim Benzema and Eder Militao should make a hypothetical Club World Cup final on the 11th Feburary, even if they are not in the semi-finals, Carlo Ancelotti revealed in the press conference.

Benzema and Militao, both injured in the Valencia game, are not going to be causing Real Madrid a big headache. After carrying out some medical tests this Saturday, the club found out that both will be ready for the Club World Cup final on the 11th February, according to 'Mundo Deportivo'. Therefore, they will also be able to play the league game against Elche on the 15th.
The game they are already ruled out for is the league one against Mallorca. What is more, they will not be fit for the semi-final of the mentioned tournament, as it takes place on the 8th. It is expected that Madrid will win, taking the side through to the final, and that is why the calculations, put forward by Ancelotti in the press room, about the striker and the defender's return are being done with that match in mind.
In more detail, the Frenchman's injury is a muscle fatigue, which rules out a re-injury of the quadriceps which had him out for the first half of the season and which generated so much controversy as it was speculated he was saving himself for the World Cup with France. In the end, he could not even do that, which distance him from suspected myths of keeping himself out.
Militao, however, has a very minor muscle injury, meaning it should not be long for him to be back in training with his teammates. One blow which will certainly hurt Real Madrid because it has now been confirmed is that of Eden Hazard who, is under treatment once again after picking up a knee injury. In the season when he pledged to return to his best level, there is yet another set back on the road to recovery.
