"Thank you for violating my privacy" - Morata hits out at Corbetta mayor for revealing his residence
Alvaro Morata is looking for a new residence. The mayor of Corbetta, Marco Ballarini, revealed that the Milan player was going to live there, but the striker has decided to change his mind after the man let everyone know where he was going to live. ‘I am forced to move immediately because of his inability to use the networks,’ he said.

Milan striker Alvaro Morata revealed on Thursday that he will have to move house after the mayor of Corbetta (northern Italy) revealed on social media that the Euro champion was closing in on a move to the town on the outskirts of Milan.
Marco Ballarini, the mayor of Corbetta, a municipality some 30 kilometres from Milan, was keen to boast that a footballer of Morata's stature was moving to the town. However, his announcement on social media provoked anger from the Spaniard, who announced that he cannot live there due to lack of privacy and to ensure the protection of his children.
"The champion is one of our new fellow citizens. The Milan striker is completing the formalities for the move to his wonderful new home in our city," the councillor announced on his Instagram account.
To add to the controversy, the mayor commented in the statement that he is a ‘Nerazzurri’ fan. "I am a big Inter fan, but I am delighted to welcome Alvaro Morata to our big Corbetta family!
Morata did not let the announcement go unnoticed and branded the mayor ‘incapable’. "Dear Mayor, thank you for violating my privacy. Fortunately I have nothing of value, the only treasure is my children whose safety has been disturbed by you," the player wrote on Instagram.
"I thought the municipality of Corbetta could guarantee me some privacy, but instead I am forced to move house immediately due to your inability to use social media and protect your citizens," he added.
