The pact between Ancelotti and Modric: "Should I change you or not?"

Real Madrid showed no mercy and ended up thrashing Granada, who were already relegated before kick-off. In keeping with the usual pattern after winning the La Liga title, Carlo Ancelotti fielded an eleven with a lot of substitutes.
Luka Modric was one of them as he is not getting too many chances from the start this term. The Croatian midfielder played 70 minutes before being substituted. He provided an assist for Brahim Diaz's second goal.
However, at one point in the second half, a conversation took place between Ancelotti and Modric. The coach asked the player directly if he was changing him or if he had any problems to continue on the pitch.
The Croatian showed a face of stupefaction at the question, in what could be understood that he was in full condition to continue in the clash. Despite this, the coach insisted once again.
