Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou faces a tough test when they host Manchester City in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup. The Greek coach held a pre-match press conference ahead of their game against the Sky Blues in which he confirmed that Son Heung-min and Odobert will miss the game.
Spurs have lost two of their last three games and currently sit eighth in the Premier League standings on 13 points, prompting recent criticism of Ange Postecoglou's handling of the squad.
The England manager has called for patience with his project, citing the example of Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool or Arteta's Arsenal, who also had less promising starts but went on to become great teams.
"There is a formula there. If you want to look at recent history, there's Liverpool, there's Arsenal. There are plenty of others who have not stuck to a process, big clubs and small clubs, and haven't got any progress," said the Spurs coach.
