Diogo Dalot is a regular starter under Ruben Amorim, but even so the Portuguese full-back has recently been criticized by Manchester United fans for his recent performances.
Despite the Red Devils having lost just one of their last five games, the 25-year-old defender has been heavily criticised for his performance in the 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace. The former Porto player has responded by making it clear that he leaves everything for the Mancunian club and that his commitment is unquestionable.
"Sometimes you're always expecting the most enjoyable moments to be winning trophies or winning games and, obviously, if I have to remember, I had very good feelings when we won against PSG away, when I won my first trophy, in the Carabao, when we won the FA Cup final. The game here last year against Liverpool when we came back," he said.
"People might like my football or not, but they cannot say that I don't give everything for the club. That I don't go to the pitch and I don't feel what this club is about. That is the thing that I always try to pass from myself and from my team-mates and for the fans," added the right-back.
"So that is my proudest moment so far: to say that I fought for a place in the team and tried to be a little more consistent about it," Diogo Dalot concluded.
