The atmosphere in the stands for the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund was huge. The two fans took it upon themselves to show their passion for their team, as well as to give them a final cheer before kick-off.
The Madrid fans in the stands waved a banner with their usual "Hasta el final, vamos Real" (Until the end, go Real). Meanwhile, the German fans wore a large banner with a crown and the phrase: "We're back in town to steal the crown."
Such a gesture was not lost on Dortmund, who were encouraged to go and greet their fans, who were positioned just behind the goal defended by Thibaut Courtois in the first half, leaving a totally unusual image just before the kick-off.
However, that was not the only surreal thing about the start. Barely a few minutes had elapsed when as many as three fans jumped onto the pitch and the game had to be stopped momentarily.
Some of them were able to take photographs of themselves with some of the players, given the passivity of the stadium's security.
