The future is highly unpredictable for Jurrien Timber after negotiations with Manchester United failed to reach a successful outcome. After a great World Cup with the Netherlands, the right-back could leave Ajax at the end of the 2022-23 season.
Commenting on a possible transfer, the Dutchman told 'Ajax Life': "You never know what crosses your path. This summer I will look at my options and make a decision. I feel good here, that's important for now.
"There was interest last summer, but I chose to stay at Ajax," he added, adding that there had been interest from a number of European teams in signing him.
Erik ten Hag, who once coached Timber, is set to go for the player ahead of the new season. Manchester United are looking for a right-back and the Dutch international is one of the options.
