Tottenham forward Timo Werner will miss the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury sustained in his side's defeat to Arsenal. The German remains the property of RB Leipzig.
The striker left within half an hour of last Sunday's 2-3 defeat to Arsenal with a hamstring problem. And Ange Postecoglou confirmed in the press room his physical setbacks.
Tottenham's medical services confirmed on Wednesday that he is suffering from a hamstring injury and that, with just weeks to go until the end of the season, Timo Werner will not play again. This leaves the striker's future up in the air.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the English club will decide in May whether to exercise the €16m option to buy him from RB Leipzig. His half-season in London has been irregular as were the years he spent at Chelsea.
