Todibo is closing in on Manchester United, but the deal could still depend on whether or not Harry Maguire leaves. The deal could benefit Barca, who have a percentage on the transfer of the player. His value? Around €40 million.

Jean-Clair Todibo's days at OGC Nice are numbered, and as 'L'Équipe' reported this morning, the Frenchman is moving ever closer to Manchester United with just a few days remaining in the summer transfer window. As a result, OGC are already scouring the market for a replacement.
But whether or not he arrives could still depend on Harry Maguire. The case of the England international has already complicated negotiations over the recruitment of Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich, who is now heading for Inter Milan. Man U need funds to be able to make progress on his arrival while complying with the Financial Fair Play regulations.
At 23, Todibo is considered one of the best defenders in Ligue 1. He was also honoured to be selected for the French national team for the first time in March 2023, for matches against the Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland.
He is worth around €40 million. Barca are already rubbing their hands, as he could earn them between 14 and 15 million euros. Indeed, when Nice exercised the €8 million purchase option negotiated with Barca, the deal involved a percentage on resale in favour of the Catalan club.
