Tottenham ask Barca about Kessie availability

Tottenham Hotspur want to strengthen their squad for next season and already have several players on their agenda.
According to the 'Daily Mail', Spurs are targeting Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie. The 26-year-old has not had much playing time as Xavi Hernandez usually counts on Gavi, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong.
Despite his good performances, the Ivorian is not a key player for the Catalan side. As a result, Tottenham believe Kessie could play a key role in their squad and are interested in him.
Furthermore, the English side know that Barcelona need to sell several players to bring back Messi and balance their books. For this reason, Spurs could take advantage of the Spanish team's situation.
Kessie has scored three goals and provided three assists in 40 competitive matches this season.
