Tottenham join West Ham's interest in Xabi Alonso

Tottenham are looking for a new manager. Ryan Mason is on an interim basis in the dugout, waiting for a coach to take the reins of the Spurs definitively.
Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso has joined the list of possible candidates for the job for next season. According to 'Telegraaf', the Spaniard is on the English club's shortlist.
Xabi Alonso would therefore increase the number of possible coaches. In the last hours it has been suggested that the chosen one could be Arne Slot, from Feyenoord, but Tottenham prefer the former Real Madrid player, so the matter is not 100% closed.
The Spanish manager is comitted to Bayer Leverkusen until June 2024 and, when asked about his future, has always maintained that he would like to honour that contract.
