Tough homecoming: Joao Felix trains apart from the group

Joao Felix is looking for a new team. Barca wanted to keep the Portuguese, but Atletico were not in favour of extending his loan and the Catalan club could not afford the large sum demanded by the 'Colchoneros' to sell him. So, the attacker has had to return to the Metropolitano.
On Friday his holidays ended and Joao Felix has rejoined Atletico. 'Mundo Deportivo' captured the moment when the striker was exercising for the first time after his return.
Joao Felix could be seen training on the touchline, although on his own for the moment. He has just returned and has to get into a rhythm for the preseason.
The first of Atletico's friendlies will be on Saturday against Numancia and everything suggests that the Portuguese will be on the bench.
The positions on this matter are clear: neither the player wants to stay nor Simeone counts on him. For the good of both parties, everyone is keeping their fingers crossed that some club will pay Atletico what they are asking for to get rid of Joao Felix, the most expensive player in the ‘Colchoneros’ history.
