England will head to Germany as one of the tournament favourites after finishing as Euro 2020 runners-up and reaching the World Cup quarter-finals two years ago.
The Three Lions are ready to start their European Championship campaign by showing their best side to lift the European title as a national team. Gareth Southgate's squad is full of young talent such as Cole Palmer, who impressed captain Kieran Trippier in training camp.
"It’s the first time I’ve trained with Cole, he’s really surprised me, a top quality player. It’s just how he finds the pockets [of space]. His awareness for where other people are and how clever he is for such a young age," the Newcastle defender told 'talkSPORT'.
Palmer has scored 22 league goals this term, a tally that equals the single Premier League season best of Chelsea's all-time record scorer Frank Lampard.
