Trippier encourages Chelsea's Gallagher to sign for Atletico Madrid

Conor Gallagher knows that Atletico are interested in his services and wants to know first-hand what the team is like. Hence, according to ‘AS’, he asked Kieran Trippier about it as soon as he had the chance.
The former Atletico player, now at Newcastle, encouraged him to swap England for Spain. He spoke highly of Atletico and Cholo Simeone.
Gallagher has a contract with Chelsea until 2025, but the Blues have no place for him in the 2024-25, so he could leave this summer. The player is very much liked by the 'Colchoneros' board, who are keeping a close eye on him.
Atletico have already made a first offer of 20 million for him, but it was insufficient for the Londoners, who rejected it without hesitation. If they want to take the midfielder, the ‘Colchoneros’ will have to raise that offer.
