It has been a lively clash at Anfield between Liverpool and Real Madrid so far, with plenty of chances for both teams to score, however inability to put the goal in the back of the net have meant that the scoreline is still at 1-0 for the Reds.
Mac Allister broke the deadlock at the 52nd minute of the game, but Real Madrid had the chance to equalise less than 10 minutes later with Kylian Mbappe. The French forward's penalty kick was saved by Kelleher, who dove right to guess the direction of his shot.
But there is consolation for 'Los Blancos', as their opponents also failed to put away their penalty at the 70th minute with Mo Salah. The Egyptian's attempt needed no intervention from Courtois as the striker simply sent the ball wide.
