Valencia set to return to training without news of Rafa Mir

Valencia are back at work on Monday afternoon after having the weekend off and will return to Paterna with the question of whether or not Rafa Mir, who is under investigation as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of sexual assault following a complaint from a woman last week, will attend the session. On Wednesday, the complainant confirmed her statement that she was assaulted by Mir after locking her in a bathroom at his home, while the player from Murcia assured that the relations were consensual.
The second woman has also denounced Mir's friend, the footballer Pablo Jara, who was also arrested and who, like the Valencia player, was provisionally released after giving his statement and, likewise, he did so with precautionary measures. Apart from the unknown Rafa Mir, Baraja will not be able to count on the players called up with their national teams or the striker Hugo Duro, injured last Friday in the right soleus and who will be out of action for several weeks.
