Valverde retracted his comments on social media and does talk about referees

Real Madrid have been furious in recent weeks with decisions that they feel have gone against them by the referees. From the statement against Espanyol to the public complaints after the match against Osasuna.
Fede Valverde did not want to talk about it in the press conference prior to the clash against Manchester City on Wednesday, but his decision not to speak lasted just a few minutes.
Once the media appearances were over, Valverde used his Twitter account to explain himself to Real Madrid fans, who keep claiming that the refereeing world is against them.
"I don't want anyone to misunderstand me, but above all I want to make it clear to our fans. If I didn't talk today about the refereeing we are suffering, it's because I know myself and I have to focus on tomorrow. Everyone has seen what is happening to us in this league, and I don't forget it, but now we must focus on tomorrow, and I will be at 100 per cent as I have always been," he wrote.
