"I'm very happy to be at Real Madrid, everything is going well. We have already won a trophy. It's getting better and better. I've scored goals, everything is going well," Mbappe told a France national team press conference ahead of Friday's Nations League match against Italy in Paris.
The match will be played at the Parc des Princes, which was his home during his seven years at Paris Saint-Germain as the Stade de France is occupied by the Paralympic Games.
The France captain said he was delighted to be back in Paris and at his former club's stadium, and said he was not worried about the reception he would receive from the fans.
Returning to the Parc des Princes is "something special": "I've spent many years here," he said. "As for the reception, I don't expect much, I don't care. The important thing is to win," he added.
Asked about his wage dispute with PSG, from whom he is demanding payment of 55 million euros, the player responded elusively: "I only have good memories of PSG. I wish them all the best," he concluded.
