Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund secured their first win of the pre-season with a 3-2 victory over Cerezo Osaka. Karim Adeyemi's brace and a goal from England's Bynoe-Gittens put the German side ahead in the first half. Cerezo Osaka, despite a strong start from the Germans, reduced the deficit with two more goals in the second half.
After a draw against Erzgebirge Aue and a 4-0 defeat by Pathum United of Thailand, which caused coach Nuri Sahin's displeasure, the Germans picked up their first win.
The match brings Borussia Dortmund's Asian tour to an end. Their next opponents are Villarreal in Austria on 6 August.
