The Real Madrid coach returns to his former home during the 2016/2017 season. Carlo Ancelotti is back in charge of the 'Merengues' at the Allianz Arena, the place he moved to after finishing his first spell as Real Madrid coach during the 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 seasons.
The Italian coach's time in Germany with the Bundesliga champions was neither successful nor bad, as the German side managed to lift the German Super Cup and domestic title, although they suffered a painful Champions League exit in the quarter-finals to his former side 'Los Blancos'.
This ensured that Ancelotti would not continue to lead Bayern the following season, so the Italian took a year off before coaching Napoli and Everton, which eventually led to his return to the Santiago Bernabeu.
