VIDEO: Bade on France's Olympic debut

Although the Olympic Games have not yet officially kicked off - the opening ceremony will take place this Friday 26 July - football has already begun.
France made its Olympic debut against the United States. The team coached by Thierry Henry was one of the favourites to win the gold medal, and the French were unbeatable in their opening match. The French took a 3-0 win to top the group and prove that they have one of the best attacks in the tournament.
"I think we've started the competition really well. We were keen to win this first match. We struggled a bit at the start but once we scored the opener, we managed to unlock the situation," Loic Bade said.
"Our forwards were able to show their quality and so did our defenders. I think it's good for our confidence and we [defenders] can also contribute to the attack."
