Wearing the shirt of your country's national team is one of the proudest things a footballer can be proud of throughout his career, and making history is certainly within the reach of very few, as is the case of Daniel Carvajal.
The Real Madrid full-back made his debut for Spain's senior team on 4th September 2014 in a friendly against France that ended with ‘La Roja’ suffering a narrow defeat to ‘Les Bleus’.
Ten years later, the reigning Euro 2024 champion has celebrated ten years representing his country and was able to do so by wearing the captain's armband in the Nations League match against Serbia, which ended in a goalless draw that moved Spain up to second place in their group.
