Kevin De Bruyne brought up his century of goals for Manchester City by scoring twice in a 4-2 win at Crystal Palace. City had fallen behind after just three minutes at Selhurst Park, but De Bruyne led the response by curling in a beauty to equalise.
Rico Lewis put the visitors in front early in the second half before De Bruyne teed up Erling Haaland to end his goal drought.
"It's been amazing, you know. I've not played a lot recently and then obviously he [Lewis] came in against Arsenal and the three games he's done, he just slotted in and that sometimes is very hard to do," De Bruyne said in praise of his teammate.
"But you know, he's a very quality player. He just comes in and seems like it's nothing. So to do that without seeing any problems is amazing from his spot. And I hope he just keeps going and he deserves it," he added.
