Erling Haaland received the Players' Player of the Year award on Tuesday. The Norwegian had a massive debut season at Man City, as the former Dortmund man broke several Premier League's records.
"It's nice and it's a big honor for me to win this. I have to thank my teammates, of course, and the trainer team and the whole staff for making it possible," said the player after being awarded.
Manchester City's striker told the media that the PFA is an award for the entire team and that this year, despite having had a short preseason, they will continue building what they started last season and will try to achieve more things together in the future.
The Norway international could not have dreamed of a start like the one he had last term. The 23-year-old striker scored 52 goals in all competitions and won the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League with the Sky Blues.
