Arsenal are preparing for the start of the 2024/25 season and the Gunners are in fine form which was reflected in their latest friendly, which saw the Emirates Stadium outfit thrash reigning Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
Goals from Zinchenko, Trossard, Gabriel Jesus and Havertz saw the Premier League side claim a comfortable victory over Xabi Alonso's side, who later told a press conference that Arteta had turned Arsenal's fortunes around because he is a "competitive animal".
The Gunners will play one more friendly match against Olympique Lyon on 11th August at 15.00 CEST at the Emirates Stadium, before hosting Wolves on 17th August at 16.00 CEST in their 2024/25 Premier League opener. Check out the highlights of the London side's win over Leverkusen.
