Mohamed Salah played a key role in Liverpool's crushing 4-2 win over Newcastle at Anfield. The Egyptian winger scored a brace, provided an assist and was a nightmare for the Magpies' defence, who could have lost by a greater goal difference.
The Egypt international, after failing to convert a penalty in the first half, changed his boots at the break and broke the deadlock with a tap-in shortly after the start of the second half.
Minutes later Salah set up Cody Gakpo for the Dutchman to add a third and put the icing on the cake from the penalty spot near the end of stoppage time. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praised the Egyptian's performance and impact against Eddie Howe's side.
