Liverpool took three key points after claiming a 2-0 win over Brentford before facing a tough test when they visit Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on 25 November.
This showdown comes just after the international break, when a large number of players take time out of training with their respective teams to play for their national teams. The better the team, the higher the level of their players and therefore the number of players who are called up by their national team is usually quite high, as for example is the case of Liverpool and Manchester City.
