Veteran Marco Reus bid farewell to 12 years at Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund with a 0-2 loss against Real Madrid in the Champions League final more than a week ago.
Robert Lewandowski, who currently plays for Barcelona, also wished farewell to his former teammate, who is likely to move to a Major League Soccer club.
"Thank you for your great work, your dedication and your passion. You have always shown what it means to burn with passion for something and I will admire you forever.
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the wonderful moments we have spent together. Thank you for your support. Once again, thank you for every moment I was able to enjoy with you. All the best, legend," he concluded.
