Kylian Mbappe got himself on the scoresheet in his first game of the 2023-24 season. Having missed the league opener against Lorient, the striker has since rejoined training with the main squad under Luis Enrique and is making his minutes count.
Ligue 1's top scorer for the last five seasons made no mistake when he was subbed on at 50' and was brought down in the box in Toulouse by defender Rasmus Nicolaisen and after VAR took a look, the decision was penalty.
The '7' stepped up to the spot after just 10 minutes on the pitch and buried the ball in the bottom right corner, sending keeper Guillaume Restes the wrong way.
Unfortunately for the striker, his efforts only saw his team take a point from the encounter as the home side were awarded a penalty five minutes from time which was converted by Zakaria Aboukhal.
