Rodri Hernandez, who recently won Euro 2024 with Spain and was voted best player of the tournament, is the main contender to win the next Ballon d'Or. Not only for his triumph with his national team, but also for his season with Manchester City.
The 28-year-old helped the Sky Blues win their fourth successive Premier League title, the Spanish midfielder's second with Pep Guardiola's side. He scored nine goals and provided 13 assists in 50 competitive matches last campaign.
Rodri is considered by many football professionals to be the best player in the world at the moment. He has now lost just once in his last 80 games in all competitions for club and country and can add the Euros to a glittering list of silverware in that time.
