Tottenham Hotspur faced Barcelona in a feisty and hard-fought clash for the Joan Gamper Trophy. Despite Robert Lewandowski's early opener, Spurs kept pushing and thanks to a brace from Oliver Skipp, led at the half.
The English side found their leveller when Lo Celso found Oliver Skipp in the middle of the box and the Englishman fired home past Marc Andre ter Stegen.
The Spurs midfielder seemed not to have had enough of restoring parity and just 12 minutes later secured his brace to give his side the lead. Manor Solomon dragged a chance into the side-netting before Perisic picked out Skipp's late run from deep and the midfielder powered home his header from close range.
However, the Catalan giants pulled off a great comeback in the second half in which their young talents like Ansu Fati or Lamine Yamal proved to be key. Yamal provided the assist to Ferran Torres for the Spaniard to level the score. Ansu Fati completed the comeback in the 90th minute and in the 93rd minute Ez Abde finished off Spurs by adding a fourth.
