Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp shocked the football world when he announced in a video posted by the English club on social media that he would be stepping down as Reds manager at the end of the season, something that practically no one expected to happen, at least not this season.
In doing so, the former Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund boss is close to ending a nine-year spell at Anfield, the club he has spent the most time with during his time as manager. Klopp began coaching at Mainz, where he spent eight seasons before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2008, from where he left in 2015 to join the Reds.
