Bayer Leverkusen are just two games away from making even more history than they have already achieved this season. Xabi Alonso's side were crowned Bundesliga champions without losing a game, something no other club has ever achieved in history.
But as well as claiming the first domestic title in the club's history, Leverkusen have not tasted defeat in 51 matches in all competitions this season, so if they win their two remaining games - the DFB Pokal final and the Europa League final - they will achieve an unprecedented unbeaten treble.
To be just one step away from such a historic feat, the Bundesliga side have had incredible campaigns from players who have been key to their success, such as Florian Wirtz, Granit Xhaka and Jeremie Frimpong, the latter of whom was praised by his coach in the build-up to the Atalanta game.
