Martin Zubimendi scored his first goal as a Spanish national team player in the Nations League match against Denmark. The Basque player gave Luis de la Fuente's team the victory with his goal and put Spain one point ahead of the Danes at the top of group A4.
The Spanish player commented after the match to the press that there is a bit of banter in the dressing room as he doesn't usually shoot. "The coach is the first one to tell me to shoot, it's a resource that I don't usually use. There's a lot of joking among my teammates because I don't usually shoot. I finally dared to shoot and it went in".
The Real Sociedad player's form continues to rise and although Liverpool and Manchester City have shown interest in him, the player has maintained that he wants to stay at Real Sociedad, but the Basque club will not find it easy because the suitors will not give up and will come back with stronger offensives.
