Vinicius owes a lot to Real Madrid. That, at least, is what Ronaldo Nazario, also a former Real Madrid player, believes. The Valladolid owner believes that his compatriot has become a different player since signing for the Spanish club, as he arrived at the Spanish club with room for improvement.
"Vinicius was not well prepared at Flamengo. He didn't know how to control a ball with his left foot, they didn't improve him in that aspect, nor his technical fundamentals, nor the space-time relationship on the pitch. He only improved when he went out", he commented on 'Mano a mano'.
He believes that Brazil still have work to do in terms of player development: "For many years, the players who emerged did so because they were talented and, in many cases, raw. A very clear case is that of the Real Madrid winger. He improved a lot with training programmes, professional methodology and the help of great professionals. He changed overnight in 2 years".
For Ronaldo Nazario, there is no one like Vinicius right now. "He is the most decisive and clinical player in world football.
