Vinicius spoke after his hat trick against Osasuna. The Brazilian believes he is at his "best". According to the Brazilian, this achievement is due to not having gone to play for Brazil in October, which he took advantage of to stay in Madrid and to have been able to recover "well".
"I'm very well since the last break, when I was able to stay in Madrid because of the injury. I've recovered well and I feel I'm at my best. I have to continue like this to help the team like I did last season. Hopefully we can win many titles," he said on Realmadrid TV.
"We played very well, which we haven't been doing in the last few games. But I'm also sad for Militao, Rodrygo and Lucas. It's a shame that it's happened to us so many times this season. Hopefully we can stand firm for them and they can come back as soon as possible. I'm very happy for the goals, but the feeling I have is sad that Militao has to go through that again," he said.
Real Madrid came into the game on the back of two consecutive defeats, against FC Barcelona (0-4) and Milan (1-3), and after which Vinicius highlighted the role of his coach, Carlo Ancelotti, whom he went to embrace in celebration of his first goal.
"The coach has found the solution and the players have put into practice what he has told us and what we have trained these last few days. I think we have to continue like this, compact and together to do great things this season," he said.
"The key is always the rhythm of the game. We started well and strong from the start. We have to play like that because then things work out well," he concluded.
