Following the victory over Al Hilal in the final of the Club World Cup, Vinicius Junior took to his social networks and dedicated an emotional message to the Moroccan fans who have accompanied Real Madrid during this tournament.
"Thank you, Morocco. I saw your passion at the World Cup, but to have such fans on my side was something very special. Real Madrid is a global club. We are Africa, Asia and Europe... And the world champions!" the Brazilian wrote on his Twitter account.
Vinicius was undoubtedly the star of the show in the final against the Arab team. The former Flamengo player, who has repeatedly been the subject of controversy for his dancing and the racist attacks he has been subjected to, scored a brace and won the cheers of the crowd.
As if that wasn't enough, the Real Madrid winger won the competition's Golden Ball and added another award to his personal trophy cabinet at the tender age of 22.
Unlike in La Liga, in Morocco he was treated like a true idol. The 'Merengues' fans in the African country were able to enjoy Vinicius' talent at its best.
