Brazilian Vinicius Junior can't wait to share adventures with Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, with whom he wants to "do great things" at Real Madrid, and has set himself the challenge of improving on the titles won last season.
Vinicius and Mbappe will share their first training session as Real Madrid team-mates on Thursday, six days before they can win their first title, the European Super Cup.
"It's going to be epic, I hope we can do great things. We have to look after him and do everything we can to help him adapt as quickly as possible. It's always complicated to come to another club, but we did it with Jude, who arrived last season and shone. Hopefully we can repeat that with Kylian."
The Brazilian was more patient in his message when asked about his compatriot Endrick. "He's very young, but his head is focused to help when we need him". On a personal note, Vinicius highlighted the good physical tone with which he has joined the pre-season and showed his hunger for success.
"I'm very well, happy to be back with the whole team, the staff and the people who work with us. It's time to get back focused because the first game is already a final. We are preparing ourselves and waiting for the remaining players so that this season is like the last," said the striker.
"I always train a lot to be able to get back to the level I left last season and to be ready as quickly as possible because we don't have so many days. We have a big game on the 14th and then the league starts. We are already prepared".
"I want to win more titles than last season, score more goals, give more assists and keep evolving because I'm only 24 years old. I've been here for six years now, but I never get tired of seeing Luka Modric playing another year with us and being able to learn from him and all the other players is always good," he concluded.
