One of the Saudi league's main objectives in making a name for itself is to sign a world star in his prime. Vinicius Jr has become a hot prospect, so much so that Al-Ahli have reportedly put up to €1 billion on the table for five seasons. However, the Brazilian has made it clear in an interview for 'CNN' that his dreams go through Real Madrid.
"I'm only 24 years old and I want to stay here for a long time and make history in this great team where I play. Not everyone has that opportunity to do that, that's why I'm talking about enjoying every moment in this shirt. Everyone wants to win with the best team on the planet, to be able to play with the best and score so many goals in so many finals and to be able to help so much," he said.
His priorities are quite clear. "I've always dreamed of playing for Real Madrid, so I treasure every moment as if it were my last," said the winger, who looks to the future with ambition: "I've already won two Champions Leagues and I play with others who have already won six and motivate us to play beyond our limits. They tell us that anything is possible with the team we have now."
Those benchmarks are clear to him: "Getting here was very hard, but staying at the top level is much harder, so I want to stay at this level for a long time and be able to win as many Champions Leagues as Carvajal, Modric, Nacho and Kroos, who won six."
For him, Real Madrid's potential is more than proven and can still be more: "We may have one of the best teams of the next decade. Now we have to show on the pitch that we can perform. Both myself and my teammates, in every game we play, we can get closer to winning titles for Real Madrid," he added.

One of the key names to be added to that superteam is Kylian Mbappe. His first two games have not gone well as the Madrid attack has stalled at times: "With the arrival of Mbappe everyone says the team can become unstoppable, but for now we have to train better and try to understand each other as quickly as possible.
"I love Mbappe's style, I love the way he plays," the Brazilian said admiringly. "I'm very excited about what we can do with him. Kylian arrives after scoring so many goals and winning so many titles. But now he comes to the club where he always dreamed of being and where every player has always dreamed of playing.
"God willing, Mbappe will be able to score as many goals for us as he did for his previous team, as he does for the French national team, and hopefully he can do even more with us," Vinicius continued.
