FIFA president Gianni Infantino held a meeting with Vinicius and the Brazilian national team and determined that the Real Madrid player will head a special committee against racism.
On Thursday, the Madrid player spoke to the media at the press conference prior to the match against Guinea and addressed this issue publicly. The 'Selecao' international wants to put a definitive end to this social problem.
"I have to continue like this for all the children and all the people who go through this every day and don't have the strength that I have," said the Real Madrid winger.
"This doesn't only happen in the pitch and it doesn't only happen in Spain. It happens everywhere and not everyone can say it as strongly as I can," he added.
