Vinicius 'yet to pay up' on €50 penalty bet, claims Hugo Duro

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Hugo Duro said he suspects the Real Madrid forward has not settled the wager made with the Georgian goalkeeper ahead of a penalty Mamardashvili saved in Saturday's match at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"I don't think he's paid him," Duro remarked, having scored the winning goal in stoppage time to secure Valencia's dramatic victory over Madrid.
It later emerged that Vinicius had placed a €50 bet with Mamardashvili after a penalty was awarded for Cesar Tarrega's challenge on Kylian Mbappe in the 13th minute.
"The one who has paid up is Giorgi – to me," he joked. "I beat him at FIFA on the way to Madrid, so I'd like to thank him for the fifty quid he lost," he added with a laugh.
