Dusan Vlahovic has demanded that the Turin club charge the same salary as Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, according to 'Il Corriere dello Sport'.

Juventus are not willing to pay 12 million euros for the next two seasons to Dusan Vlahovic. Therefore, they want to find a formula to keep him, but without having to take on a mortgage. For his part, the Serbian has demanded to receive 10 million, the same amount that Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez receives.
Vlahovic currently earns 7 million per year. Juventus want to increase that figure to 8 million and, in addition, offer him two extra seasons in Turin. The idea is to extend his contract with the club until 2028 and increase his salary by 1 million.
The Serbian player is not satisfied with the proposal. With the 12 million for the next few seasons, he would be the highest paid player in Serie A and he is not willing to lower himself from that status. For that reason, he would accept the 10 million that would put him in first position on a par with Victor Oshimen and Lautaro Martinez if the latter renews his contract with Inter.
If the two sides fail to reach an understanding, Juve will consider selling the striker. This would force the Italian side to restore their attack, as the Serbian is the only one of their attacking players who is scoring goals.
It is also true that Vlahovic's numbers have dropped in recent games. He has not scored in two consecutive games and in the last game he was sent off unnecessarily. Some within the club think that the striker is not in the best position to demand such sums, but the player wants to share the position of Serie A's highest paid player.
