Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw at West Ham in a Premier League clash at the London Stadium. Emerson Palmieri cancelled out Joao Felix's goal and the points were shared.
Moreover, there was controversy on social media after the match. Both teams posted several tweets talking about Gallagher's shot that was blocked by midfielder Soucek.

Potter's side wanted a penalty at the death when Conor Gallagher's shot hit Soucek's arm in stoppage-time, but the referee and VAR rejected their appeals, much to Chelsea's fury. As a result, the Blues wrote a tweet joking about it: "Soucek makes a great save from Conor Gallagher," they wrote. However, West Ham responded to the tweet by quoting it and uploading a video of Soucek: "My father was a goalkeeper," the midfielder said.
Later, Chelsea again joked about the Czech footballer and his performance when FIFA uploaded a post asking who should win The Best 2022 award for best goalkeeper. "Tomas Soucek," they wrote.
