"We have a long way to go to become favourites for a title"

Atletico Madrid face one of their most special days on Sunday. Starting at 21.00 CET, Diego Pablo Simeone's side host Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid in the first derby of the season.
Antoine Griezmann, one of the most important players in the squad, if not the most important, spoke about the effort the club have made to strengthen the squad, but also assured that there is still some way to go to be considered favourites for titles.
"The club have made the efforts to do something big, to win something, but I think we still have a long way to go to become a favourite for a title," Griezmann confessed to “Movistar”.
Kylian Mbappe, who was injured in the game against Alaves and will be out until the next international break, will not be available for the match.
"Kylian is one of the best in the world. It's an important loss, but they have players on the bench who can compete for this game," added the Atletico Madrid striker.
